Eunice Lo at TEDxBristol

Climate scientist Eunice Lo turns the data on heatwaves into something human: not distant numbers, but our sleep, our health, and the people we love. A sobering but hopeful look at why we have to act now, and where she still finds reason for hope.

Dr Eunice Lo is a climate scientist at the University of Bristol specialising in extreme heat and its impact on human health. Her research connects the data of a warming world to the things we care about most: our sleep, our health and the people we love. She is a leading voice on why climate action is a matter of public health.

TEDxBristol 2025 was held at We The Curious, Bristol’s much-loved science centre on the city’s historic harbourside, and beautifully filmed and edited by the team at Watch & Learn Productions.

This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more about TEDx.
