My research uses AI and machine-learning techniques to investigate how the climate produces risks to health, in-particular using graph databases to track how different community makeups and geographies can increase or decrease those risks. I primarily use Graph Neural Networks (GNNs) and other models for relational structures to conduct this research, allowing me to integrate data sources across multiple geographic and temporal resolutions and schemas.
I conducted my PhD with the Interactive AI CDT here at the University of Bristol, developing graph-learning techniques and frameworks for a thesis titled ‘Towards Addressing Frontiers in Graph Learning’, including new graph foundation models and generative frameworks.
